Stories to inspire and empower the next generation

The Women Who Wow video series is a collection of in-depth stories from six inspiring women. Each video is full of life-experiences, takeaways, lessons learned, and personal reflections designed to empower a new generation. Through stories that focus on breaking gender expectations, challenging age stereotypes, discovering a love for service, and more, this series will inspire young girls to set bold goals, demonstrate grit and perseverance, and grow into confident women.


A one-page discussion guide accompanies each video. These discussion guides are meant to give viewers an opportunity to reflect on each story and what they learned. You may fill out each page for self-reflection only, or use it to start a discussion with a group.

Episode 1 - Avonte Jackson

After creating a successful career for herself in the for-profit sector, Avonte Jackson discovered a passion for serving others. She unselfishly switched career gears to be an advocate and champion of non-profit work, helping those who need assistance most.

Episode 2 - Grace Davidson

At 17 years-old, Grace Davidson became the youngest campaign manager in Washington state. While navigating through this male dominated field as a teenager, Grace found success on and off the campaign trail, helping her realize you can never be too young to make a difference.

Episode 3 - Marilee Eerkes

A story of overcoming grief and tragedy, Marilee Eerkes explains the challenges and heartbreak of losing her teenage daughter in a car accident and how she and her family found the strength to not only move forward, but to support others.

Episode 4 - Pam Renard

A true example of putting others first, Pam Renard has traveled the world to improve the lives of others. After developing a passion for pharmacy work, Pam packed her bags, got out of her comfort zone, and put her life on hold multiple times to provide health care for people in Guatemala, Africa, and Ukraine.

Episode 5 - Sabiha Khan

An activist on a mission to empower others, Sabiha Khan has spent decades working to create a better tomorrow for people of all cultures and backgrounds. After growing up in Pakistan and traveling to countries across the globe, she has developed an empathetic worldview that has motivated her to stand up for what’s right.

Episode 6 - Margarita Gonzalez

After immigrating to America as a teenager without a strong grasp of the English language, Margarita Gonzalez created a new life for herself from almost nothing. While receiving support from others, she developed a strong work ethic, carved out a space for herself and her family in a new community, and learned to love the adventure of life while paying it forward.
