Do you know how to communicate with people who are deaf or hard of hearing? In the United States, 13%
of people ages 12 or older have some amount of hearing loss in both ears.

 

Learning the American Sign Language (ASL) alphabet is a great starting point to help you communicate! ASL is the primary language of Deaf people and families across the U.S. and Canada.

    1. Your name
    2. The city you live in
    3. Your favorite food
    4. Your favorite subject at school
    5. Boys and Girls Club (or BGC)
